It makes a nice start to the day to have an email saying that one of my images has been selected as image of the day – even more somehow for an image like this which isn’t actually ‘mine’.
The photo was taken by Derek Armstrong – one of several showing Ibiza long before it became so popular as a tourist destination. His archive is particularly varied because he travelled with his job and also in leisure – cycling and motor holidays exploring UK and Europe.
